I have been looking around the forums looking for a good answer but none of them are good. :(
At the moment I have it like this;

DamageCarsBounce =16 ;32
DamageWalls =3700 ;7424
DamageCars =4100 ;8192
DamageWallsBounce =4 ;16
NoseCone =2 ;2
RightWing =130 ;130
LeftWing =130 ;130
RightWingFence =66 ;66
LeftWingFence =66 ;66
RightFrontSuspension =136 ;136
RightFrontWheel =136 ;136
LeftFrontSuspension =68 ;68
LeftFrontWheel =68 ;68
RightSidePod =8 ;8
LeftSidepod =4 ;4
CarRear =12 ;12
RightRearSuspension =34 ;34
RightRearWheel =34 ;34
LeftRearSuspension =17 ;17
LeftRearWheel =17 ;17
EntireRearWing =256 ;256
RightRearWing =256 ;256
LeftRearWing =256 ;256
TopRearWing =256 ;256
LeftBargeBoard =8 ;8
RightBargeBoard =4 ;4

Realistic as in when you hit a car at 100 mph something will happen to the car. E.G front wing damaged. The current settings I have it on do not do anything much.

I use GP4Tweaker for realistic damage. I set the damage coefficient to 400% and now contact (equal whether wall or car) leads nealy allways to the end of the race, I think that's realistic ;-).

But I am using CSM. It says that I can't use Tweaker with CSM.

Of course, sorry.
Here you can find other damage settings. With them the cars might be more vulnerable, so it should be more realistic ;-).

Thank you. Just one more thing.
DamageCarsBounce =32 ;32
DamageWalls =7424 ;7424
If I change that to;
DamageCarsBounce =49 ;32
DamageWalls =8000 ;7424
That. Would that make it bounce of cars more and Damage more or less?

As far as I know, it should make more damage, but I'm no expert in CSM-files ;-).

If you are using CSM in the settings folder you have a damage.ini file which contains the same info like above. If you don't have that file i'll upload mine and you can put it in the settings folder of your csm mod.

Nice site and nice 1967 picture. I still dream that one day, the one 1967 mod that are in gp4central stay complete with textures or better. Unless someone here have the 67 mod with complete textures and share with me.

Although, here is my config for near realistic damage. One hit and wings and wheels broken. The config is free/public to anyone use or publish in any mod or site. Don´t need to ask me the permission. Just use and enjoy.

[Damage]

Hy!

I have 1998 GP4 mod, but i don't have damage.ini in my Settings folder.

As you wrote, i created a damage.ini file, and i copied those values, that you posted in first message. I have put the damage.ini file to my settings folder, but not effect, no realistic damage...
What's the problem? Need edit the gp4tweak data file?

Thank you!

(sorry for my bad english)

Like I said, in some mods, the cars broken more in an mod than another. It´s due to the car modeling, for example, 1991 and 1994 remove a lot of parts, but 1999 no, just some parts.
