Yep, but maybe the source that he downloaded came with the issue! The mod from GP4FOREVER works fine.

Nice that you are having a nice talk here, but installing the mod from GP4Forever does not do anything - I think I messed up with GP4 Tweaker then.

For CSM you always need a clean .exe, so if it wasn't clean CSM wouldn't have started. Kind of strange problem you have...

This is CSM, then... I know that for CSM mods there is a Data -> Tweaker -> gp4_tweakdata (or something like that) folder where there are .txt files for the wheel, steering wheel, helmet positions, etc.
For example, this is for the wheel positions on a 2006 mod:

With the cars for the 2012 emptymod (GP4 Central) the positions files are in the car files, maybe it's the same for your mod?

There is only one Cars.wad in this mod - no separated car files.

It's a possibility that the positions are encoded in the gp4.exe that is in the mod folder

Good point, try using a fresh no cd exe file.. Tru to get the 2004 points system exe.. It works good!
