permission question f2008 chinese spec

Hello guys

i got a little question.
Sometime ago i made some realistic ferrari screens from chinese 2008





you see one with the other without the sharkfin

After that many people asked me for sharing but i made it for personal use and i couln't share it infact of the old permission rule. But know with the new permission policy i want to give the pack a try

And that is my question. Did i need permissions from the authors or not?
I only rename one shape and the textures and fit them togethere with the gp4 builder..
I think that this is a point which is not clear in the new policy..

So steven what did you say to this?

And should i need permissions can the creator from both versions (Craigo, Gezere and skaaningen) reply here and gave me a thumbs up or thumbs down??

The new permission rule is for files that PUBLIC have been released to add in mods without asking each author again.

In your case you have used, modified, ... work from author(s) and you want to release you version. The new permission says when you do that modified, using someones work as base you still have to ask permission to release your work based on someone else, giving credit in this case isn't enough !!!

Hope thats sorted out now

But since all those persons you mentionned above are on the list, you won't have much problem to receive permission but you still have to ask !
