Having a look at some modding history

Hello everybody

A few days ago, I posted a technical summary about my 15 years of Simracing Modding in CTDP's Development blog.
I noticed a few old faces already commented and since GP3 and GP4 are among the games I covered, I thought I'd post the link here as well.
Enjoy some nostalgia and a summary on how car painting evolved and where it's at today.

I feel a little bit like a dinosaur.

Nice article, interesting from a painters point of view, whereas I gave up on painting pretty quickly and ended up shaping instead. Doesn't half bring back some fond memories

If you haven't seen or noticed... Here is one of your works!

Amazing to read and see Dahie, this brings good memories, thanks ! :p I started with gp2 back in 1996, didn't paint anything but learned how to update the game and then got gp3 back in 2000 and with that I did some small texture modification but mainly just updated with stuff from internet.... then came gp4 2002 and it was all exciting to see the developing of car textures,shaping and track editing coming possible! remember well when you together with CTDP produced great cars for gp4 and you textures have always been top quality, I find your McLaren MP4-21 textures to be one of the best if not the best textures for rfactor and gp4! also got f12002, f1challenge 99-02, rfactor during the time.

Awesome! I feel stalked in the most positive way! :D
I'm always happy when I see one of my cars in the screenshots threads or in a video on youtube. I didn't know somebody compiled a video with all my fantasy cars.
