Steering Wheels

Guys,
One thing I've never messed with are steering wheels. I've found some good ones including a decent 2002 season pack by "berger fan". Am I right in saying that you can't have different wheels on different cars (i.e. The Ferarri wheel on the Ferarri AND the Williams on the Williams etc etc). You load one and it shows on them all right?
