Rio Track Issues

Guys

I'm having weird issues with the 2 Rio tracks available for gp4. The one from the 1988 track pack only works with the 1988 mod. If I try it with any other mod GP4 crashes. Any idea's as I'd really like to use it with other mods? Same with the Rio track from gp4db as well.
