Question about the game resolution

If the game resolution is changed, do the textures of the cars need to be resized to the resolution that was selected?

No, only the screen resolution is changed.

I've been asking because I've had this problem for quite a while and I don't know how to remedy it. Every time I change the screen resolution so that the game will run faster, all the cars turn white, as if they don't have any textures on them.

Set the in-game menu textures to high. This is also in the FAQ.
