So for 2012, Renault will officially become Lotus, Team Lotus will (as suspected) run as Caterham and Virgin become Marussia Racing.

This is ridiculous, its becoming like bicycle racing where the teams change names every couple of years.

It's taking the piss. I thought Tony Fernandes' team had the approval of the Chapman family? Then this... Pffft.

I think we should all just call them Fake Lotus. It's official now! :P

There were talks that one of failed me team entries under max's budget cap regs would have entered as Brabham, but all kind of long since dead F1 brands were being touted all over the place.

As for Tyrrell... Brawn has considered using the Tyrell name when Honda cried "Enough, we can't take it anymore" at the end of 08, but settled with Brawn in the end.

The driver line-up for Fake Lotus is obvious. Senna should be kept on with Kazuki Nakajima making a shock comeback as his teammate.
Meanwhile HRT should be re-branded Brabham with Nelsinho Piquet drafted in to drive alongside Ricciardo.

Simples. :P
