Off topic I know, but andreigp4's pic reminded me of this. An interesting little fact - I reckon most of you have been looking at the F1 logo wrongly for years.
Here's a simple question - where are the 'F' and the '1' in the logo? I bet that 99% of you say that the black part is the F, and the red part is the 1. But you'd be wrong. Look at the white space in the middle. See it now?
Crazy isn't it? Such a simple logo, yet virtually nobody sees it correctly. It made me feel really stupid the first time I saw it

Yeah, most people I show this to are completely baffled when they see it. As in "I can't believe I never saw that". I think you must be in the minority :P

Being honest, I'm the same - I just assumed the red was the 1 and never actually noticed the 'space'.

at first i didn't noticed it, but i remember it didn't took me "that" long..
it is a tricky logo, as the normal reaction is not to notice it at first, but i'm more suprised you guys who are regular followers haven't notice it for a while...
the F1 car in the old F1 FIA logo was easier but they where using the same "strategy" back then

As a child I thought the red was the 1, although it looked an odd shape to me ... only some years ago i noticed the white space
