It seems to be made up of Hungary, Silverstone, Bahrain, Hochenheim and Turkey... and probably others which I can't be bothered to pick out right now.

I still say F1 should race an oval :p

Not a bad layout, I guess its what we all expected... the Spa's and Suzuka's are long gone, these are the tracks of the future... unfortunatly.

i would have dropped turn 13 and turn 14 and replace turn 12 and turn 15 with a fast corner.

the turn and 1 and the turn 2 reminds me of Hungaroring's turns 2-3.turns 1-11 and the last one should have a bigger radius IMO

Looks better in 3d, with T10 looking interesting, but 11 looks too slow for any overtaking into T12... but a car hasnt yet driven it so I dont know!

Am I the only one seeing Suzuka all over it? First set of corners after T1 is very similar to the first sector in Suzuka. And the last few corners look a lot like Spoon.

Yup, I saw some attempts at copying Suzuka. To be honest, should have copied the corner radius' as well.

Join turns 12 and 15 by dropping turns 13 and 14 .... you end up with a quite nice circuit

Why does he put that slooooow section after the long straight? Let's have more medium-low downforce circuits and not too many "L" and "V" turns.
"C" shape turns are the best to watch for F1 cars, with some hairpins and chicanes for overtaking you get a great track ... to make it safe? put a lot of run off areas with gravel and asphalt.

EDIT: Just saw the 3D view, good elevations ... interesting at turn 1

Thanks GP3Hotlaps

that chicane comlpex seems taken from Rijeka but less funny than it. I love hills so this is how i'd like it at least:
-between turn 2 and 3 i'd put an uphill that turns suddenly downhill right before the entrance of the first chicane, making the entrance a bit blind from the stright untill you get there, so you need to be focused finding the right braking point.
-I'd join turn 7 to turn 9 with a 45deg fast corner leading into the uphill to join turn 10
-That complex on the return straight needs no words at all. I'd replace it with a sweet long curve to join turn 12 and 15 with a relievant compression in the middle. I just luv compressions!
-Finally, I'd make turn 19 an arquibancada or wathever it spells, faster , downhill and reasonably banked to gain speed for the last turn attack.

what do you think? ;)

First set of corners after T1 is very similar to the first sector in Suzuka.

Only in the sense that some left-handers are followed by right-handers. There appears to be sod-all flow, which is in keeping with every track he's designed (the only corners with flow I can think of are at Sepang.

Come on Tilke, show some imagination. We're sick of turn, heavy brake, turn, heavy brake, stupidly long straight, heavy brake, etc.

The quicker Bernie goes, the better. His replacement might consider someone else to design tracks that have some variation.
