The date is the 8th of September, talk about dragging it out lol.

Right before the Italian GP as well.

It's the next meeting of the WMSC. It was never going to be any other date.

I'm doubting any further sanction will be made. It would certainly be a bold move to ban Ferrari from the Italian Grand Prix... but that's never going to happen.

They did not ban Mclaren for the spy gate thing so I cannot see them banning Ferrari anyway. A fine and no points for Germany will be all they get.

Probably ... but the punishment needs to be severe enough to deter any other teams from doing it in the future.

What's interesting is how this will effect the WDC. I mean, if team orders are banned, how will Ferrari get Alonso in front of Massa at that crucial race?

A pitstop f*ck up?

Those who think any form of team orders to help one driver or another will not happen are being silly... but after this incidents it's going to be harder for the teams to make it look less obvious.

Since Ferrari have been fined, then Hamilton and Mclaren should be penalised for team orders in turkey, remember hamilton asking over the radio if button would overtake him, and the team said no. then button, being the real sport and not adhering to team orders like his teammate wanted, went and overtook hamilton. then hamilton in the weigh-in after the race asks button about the incident, but then tells button to keep quiet when the itv camera came up to them, because he new it would be incriminating. i dont see how this is any worse, its a team sport, and all teh other teams are being absolute hipocrits, because they would do the same if only one of their drivers is in the championship hunt. why have 2 drivers in a team if they cant act like teammates???

That's a completely different matter. Hamilton was ASKING the team if Button would overtake him. The team did not ORDER Button not to overtake Hamilton. Besides, AFAIK Button was ahead in the Championship at this point. Remember the FIA have all the team radios and would have pointed anything incriminating out immediately.

No points in the Constructors Championship for Germany would be good. But no points for Alonso and Massa would be unfair. The "incident" didn't affect other drivers' results.
