I don't believe this is in the regs. However, they do have to have a kill switch for the marshals.

A fairly standard practice session. Interesting to see Schumacher towards the front, it could be a good sign for Monaco next weekend which is probably his best chance so far this year.

Good work from Klien as well to easily beat Senna in FP1, especially considering he hasn't driven an F1 car for 18 months. He seems to have some wasted potential in F1 unfortunately.

I doubt the rules are a clipboard, it is just what they use because it works currently. But you do have to cover the airbox and show it stalls, to prove the engine isn't bringing in air from anywhere else but the regulated area.

Who's fastest in P3? The F1 website's not showing anything..

Redbull in class of their own

vettel fastest in fp3 by 7tenths over webber

webber didnt get a fast lap in due to yellow flags though

As ever around this place the teams are running 2x2!

I dont expect anyone to challenge Vettel for pole, maybe Lewis but im not so sure... Expecting RedBull 1-2 in qualifying with hopefully Mclaren 3rd and 4th, with Lewis likley to be in 3rd.

5th and 6th will be between Schumacher adn Alonso imo.. Schumacher looking good .

As for the race, I expect Vettel to just peg Lewis, and Webber. Will be a bore fest though.

Ferrari were all over the place. It looked nasty. Understeer on the apex and horrible, horrible oversteer everywhere else.

A couple of rookie mistakes from Kobayashi and Petrov. It looked like a very big job for Renault to get Petrov's car ready for qualifying.

YAY total RBR dominance, the car is absolutely flying at barcelona, stunning! well done Newey and others. Interesting to see what kind of penalty will Alonso get from pitlane incident between him and Rosberg, Clearly Alonso's fault.

Either there's some other device on the Red Bull that no one has noticed, or they are simply very good in qualifying like the FW14 in 1992.

Pointless, theirs no room for alonso their , nico got a clear view on his front , while alonso are @#$%& 50/50 blindsided on his view in left side , he should give alonso a chance to go first since his going to the pit and have 100% visual and alonso got full lock on his wheel btw.

Alonso should have let Rosberg first because Rosberg was already on pitlane straight.Alonso should have looked to the left like others do, Ferrari already got fined for this so penalty has been given end of discussion
