That Macca was the advertisement itself :D By the way if I were Montezemolo I'd put something like this on the cars.

But probably they wouldn't be blamed only because of the hidden trademark anyway. :)

anyway, this looks even better that that... but it has the bar code... in the 90s only UK and Germany dont allowed to show tobbaco, and when this was there nobody said nothing

The laws are stricter now than they were in the 90s, which is why the iconic Marlboro board at the top of Hanger Straight disappeared.

I didn't know that board had any history, but it always was a bit ridiculous having non-tobacco cars, and then a Marlboro on-track ad.

The boards contract was in place long before the laws so used a loophole to get around it. When the laws were tightened, the board went.

yes, here's a quick mock-up

I think the 2nd one does look better (although not as good as DaiMOn's suggestion above ;))

I doubt any legal challenge could rule a white box as a subliminal marlboro ad.

And as I predicted. Ferrari have nothing new for Monaco.

All this stuff about looking at a logo on a car and suddenly running out to the shop to buy smokes is stupid. Ferrari could write "Only cool people smoke" in giant letters all over the car and it would not make one bit of difference to the smoking habits of people. I mean if you so effected buy advertising you would be to poor to buy smokes after spending all your money of new fitness machines from the shopping network!

Yeah I noticed the Marlboro ads on the simulations I thought that the tracks were just off the internet and they where just there. Didn't know they were made by RBR.

The RBR tracks are off the net. Albert Park is a GP4 conversion as can be seen by the out dated wall positions.

RBR run rFactor Pro.

Might be slightly unrelated to Marlboro, but Ferrari celebrates its 800th GP this weekend.
