I'm not sure, but its probably for aerodynamic reasons. If all drivers have the same shape, then they can more easily map the air flow over the helmet.

I remember Adrian Newey wanting Webber to change helmet shapes in 2008 for the same reason

i think he didn't drove it, with fia rules he can't test the car yet.
if you see the picture in high resolution you can see the tyres are stopped, i can read bridgestone perfetly in front tyres

He must have at least driven the car around the track to get into the position for the picture? lol

Anyway I thought you were allowed to do some driving if its for a special reason such as filming a tv ad?
