They are utilizing a name which they persume will help with marketing...
I guess the same as Force India... that has no doubt attracted a larger audience in India than what a Mallaya F1 would have for example.
I simply see it as no better than Bruno calling massa #5 because he refused to call him his real name. If your going to refer to a team by "fake Lotus" or "Tesco Value Lotus" what is the difference between that and Bruno calling Massa #5, for which he got a shite loada grief of everyone, myself included.
Thats not to say I agree with the choice of name.. I mean I would much prefer 1Malaysia F1 team, however I will call them what they are.
edit - Locke, theres no question Nick being technically minded. The fact that he and his team got the Acura with the larger front tyres to work as well as it did was quite something. The only thing I really doubt is still his decision to even see a windtunnel, not even for validation. I am curious to know his methods for aero-mapping in CFD, as that seems to be what a large portion of windtunnel time is used for. We dont need to get in that again though do we. But my opinion has not changed, ive spent the psat 3 months learning 3 CFD programs and its amazing how even the smallest input error could change the end result so drastically. That's said he and his team have been doing it for at least 15 years I imagine.
edit again - forgot to say, looking at the pics of Glock gettign into the car, well tub, it does look quite narrow and they have the redbull style humps! im sure of all the newcomers it will be the most exciting to look at.
