Alonso confirmed at Ferrari for 2010

like said everybody has his opinion and mine is that kimi is overrated.

They had to do the extra stop at Fuji cause they started on the wrong tyres! They were ordered to the pits.

Kimi later in that race drove flat out passed loads of cars and finished 3rd. It was a fantastic drive seeing he was at the back.

massa was in front of kimi after alonso crashed into the wall. They let massa do an extra not scheduled pitstop so that kimi would be in front of massa to get more points. They couldn't tell massa to let kimi pass cause team orders are forbidden

Oh do me a favour, Masssa would have moved over by himself just like others have done.

Massa aint stupid and knew kimi needed the points. Look last year when Kimi let Massa past.

those are fuji pitstops and you can clearly see Massa's 2nd pitstop was way too short for him to finish the race, they didn't fuel him much that stop so he had to make a 3rd one!

Promise are meant to be broken!(Remember alonso saying on last couple of years that he will never drive for ferrari? now here it is.. infact a 3 year deal with an optional 2!)

I hope the 2010 Ferrari will fit to his superior aggressive understeer driving style!.And not to be out-paced by a fast brazilian driver. I have a feeling that alonso and ferrari may come down into 1 . As for kimi.. i feel sorry for him and it looks like his thoughts/expression on his mutual statements[www.formula1.com] was very sad statment from him, As the looks of it. And it looks like he does want to stay with the ferrari team though. I wonder... wtf ferrari did to him was basically dump him. And while kimi-mclaren is very likely and highly will happen. Now Once again lewis will have some great preassure on the paddock. Thinking, "will raikkonen out-pace me?". Well i say... mostly!

I dont know why people keep saying Kimi will out pace Lewis, Alonso did not so why should Kimi?

Yes I do think Kimi is faster than Alonso, well he was faster, but I think Lewis will be as quick.

It will be a good test, one that if Lewis wins will keep a few people quiet. But no doubt people will then say Kimi is not the kimi of old.

It's a different Ferrari. The Todt era has gone, along with his lead driver and support driver regime. Every leading department has a new head - engineering, design, team boss and even driver. Far less bull, though still a long way to go to get back to the pre late 90s Ferrari.

Mclaren is still the old mclaren to me of the 90's. They doesnt treat their drivers fair & square! they have their own favouritism and out come profit of their drivers.

ooooo thats so good for Alonso, cant wait to see the ferrari and mclaren teammate battles next year, though hoping Kimi is at Mclaren of course!

The mclaren will suit Kimi's driving style much better so ill be happy if it gives him the chance at winning the WDC, which if it is, he probably will win!

I've a hunch that Kimi's struck it lucky this time. I reckon Ferrari are slowly going off the boil and that McLaren will be the team to beat next year. Kimi vs Lewis should be awesome, here's hoping the Kimster of old will make a triumphant return. It'll be great though to see Alonso back in a winning car and I expect him to beat Massa convincingly.

Next season is building up to be mega already!

Ferrari and McLaren should lead the way with their excellent driver line-ups, but Brawn and Red Bull should be close behind, and even Renault could surprise if they can get Kubica. Furthermore, we have several new teams, no more refuelling and more races!

Great news to hear that Alonso will be in a well-resourced team again. The Kimi/McLaren match-up isn't a done deal yet, regardless of how likely it is. There is still the Qadbak option.

If he does end up at McLaren, I predict he'll start to beat Lewis in the first few races, before Lewis gets all sulky and complains that he's a number 2 driver, at which point McLaren will turn their backs on Kimi and give Lewis his toys back. Kimi will get frustrated with Lewis's "only-child-syndrome" attitude, demand equal treatment, and when he doesn't get it he'll implicate McLaren in a scandal that will cost them millions of dollars. Frustrated at a lack of equality within Team Lewis, Kimi will leave at the end of the year and go rallying.

And somehow, through all of this, people will make out that Lewis is the victim.

What can ya do??

No no, remember Ferrari is the one to get in a Scandal now. Alonso At McLaren = Scandal, Alonso at Renault = Scandal, Alonso at Ferrari = Scandal in waiting

As far as I know, they will qualify with minimum fuel.

yes they will run qualifying with almost empty fuel tanks
