Well how the hell can barcodes convince people to buy Marlboro then?

Because almost everyone still associates those barcodes and that advertising space with Marlboro.

Except for the space on the nose which has been blank for the past two years. They should've put stripes on them like 07. Those ones actually suited the car.

That will probably end up being Abbey sponsorship I suppose. Then they could use Hamilton for British promotions, and Alonso for Spanish promotions.

Alonso still hasn't been confirmed at Ferrari for 2010 - some say it might be 2011 before there is a space for him.

So if Renault get banned over the race-fixing stuff, where does he go next year?

Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)

Toyota have always wanted him as well (as have most teams i suppose), but i don't know if they would allow a 1 year deal

They've only offered Trulli a 1 year deal. I'm sure given the choice of a driver for a year, they'd choose Alonso of the 2!
