Mclaren need Rosberg more than Kimi, tbh they need someone fresh willing to push himself to the top, they already had Kimi, but the Kimi that they knew is long gone

Alonso to ferrari si almost certin, but i don't think we can speculate Kimi is on the Move to Mclaren just yet

There are rumours about him being confirmed for 2010 in Ferrari after Suzuka.

I don't think we should discount the option of Ferrari helping somebody to buy BMW Sauber, and supplying them with engines with Kimi thrown into the deal for good measure.

Kimi will go to McLaren, everyone at the paddock says this and during the singapore weekend Withmarsh and Haugh confirmed they want the best drivers that are available and they said they like Kimi and would want him back...also Häkkinen who knows a lot about McLaren said first things about Kimi and only after that about Heikki that he is a great talent that will develop and when asked will we see a finn at macca 2010? Mika said it's very likely but didn't want to say more.

Yes Alonso has said he's made his decision, the renault MD says renault will miss him and he will miss them, so it looks certain he is on his way to ferrari for next year now. Looks like Kimi is back at mclaren after Martin Whitmarsh's silence and Haugh's words!

"Ferrari to announce Alonso ahead of Suzuka"

[en.f1-live.com]

- "It is a possibility, but it is not guaranteed," team boss Stefano Domenicali was quoted as saying by the Daily Telegraph in Britain, when asked if Ferrari's next driver line-up will be known in Japan.

Next year is shaping up to be very good. Alonso at Ferrari, Kimi at McLaren...Epic battle in sight :)

I guess Hamilton is not very happy though. Kimi is not Kovalainen and I don't think he would accept any secondary role. We'll see if they car really handle both drivers, Lewis is not very good handling pressure, he is not a rookie anymore and Kimi can be really good (from time to time and with the right motivation). And besides, I find difficult to imagine Alonso not getting a lot of points with the Ferrari so good for F1!

Kimi going back to Mclaren will work well, I dont think him and Lewis will have any problems and they will both push each other hard. Mclaren need 2 strong drivers.

Alonso at Ferrari I dont think it will work well, I know a few Ferrari fans and they dont want him. Saying that most want MS back. If Massa is faster than him we might see a repeat of the Mclaren year, but Ferrari need him I think.

Nico and Brawn will be interesting, I am still not sure about him. I think he is fast but makes quite a few errors.

Tbh I'd rather have Alonso live out one more year at Renault and let Kimi complete a year in Ferrari. And then they all can move, I mean Kimi did what he wanted to do, Win a WDC with Ferrari and he did it and now he's just bored seeing as he's starting doing rallying and stuff. Who knows he may have been doing it in the past but the restriction at Macca might have messed him.

Hmmm Alonso & Massa or Lewis & Kimi

I think I'd take Lewis and Kmi

Alonso will be ok at Ferrari and wont give up thats for sure. Look how he is with Renault, tbh he never gave up at Mclaren either he just gets on with it no matter how bad or good the car is.

Was interesting what Martin said on Sunday though, the race that cost Alonso the world championship in 2007 was at Hungry. Had he not done what he done in the pit lane he would have got the point he needed to win the championship.

Thats the type of thing Ferrari will have to manage with him, when he does not get his own way.

But I dont think it will work I think there will be a clash of personalities, plus I dont think Ferrari fans really like him.

Ferrari fans didn't like Schumacher so it's hardly a big deal worth constantly pointing out

Alonso is a cool down to earth guy, he's not arrogant at all and is always sincere, you can even see it at the conferences, everyone in the paddock likes him and he gets along with many drivers, in Minardi, Renault and Mclaren, the mechanics where always happy with him, and in Minardi and Renault the team bosses and board presidents as well

i'll be more worried about Kimi in mclaren tbh, either him or Lewis are not going to come looking good at all, it could be Kimi deffinitive downfall, or he could expose Hamilton's faults

If Kimi goes to McLaren, Lewis will have a strop. He can't handle someone pushing him, look how he threw his toys out of the pram with Alonso.

You heard it here first.

I believe both would enjoy their time at McLaren if the team worked properly towards developing the car and not favoring someone. They'd have great internal competition and they most likely would be very fair with each other on the track.

I dont remember Lewis being the one to throw a strop when Alonso was his team mate tbh, in fact both have said they have no problems with each other. Other things happened eg Ron that caused the problems back then.

Kimi and Lewis will probably get on fine and enjoy pushing each other. I think both Kimi and Lewis are the types of drivers that dont care who their team mates are, Alonso did not bother Lewis and he beat him in his 1st year in a good number of races and in the final standings.

Massa I think will be the one at Ferrari that loses out, if he is not 100% fit Alonso is going to destroy him.

Its going to be great though Kimi, Lewis, Alonso, Massa and others fighting for wins etc.

Lets hope they all get the cars working well, can not wait.
