depends if you wanted basic access or not, or just liked the atmosphere of being there.

you can actually see a few of the tv screens from outside the track, notably the first straight up to maggots and becketts.

is there anything stopping you standing outside the grass to the entrance access point behind whittlebury park and hearing live f1 sounds but watching the tv screen opposite? :P

Ive got my ticket...woop woop

I was going to go with my girlfriend for the full weekend this year, she's never been to the F1 before but loves it and it would have been amazing. As with all women though, it took that long for her to decide whether or not to go that the tickets sold out . Fear not, we have Friday tickets though.

Erm, I went on the Silverstone website earlier today, and there are still some tickets available. Just not gen access unfortuntely.

much of it is purely because it's the last race there.

i'll be there btw, friday sat and sunday, roaming tickets. I will probs stand at maggots again cause i like the speedy direction change it's ace.

(edit) last year, people with only general access were getting into the grandstands by getting someone two bring two people's tickets out of the grandstands with them and giving them to a mate, who then walked in past security and took seats other people had paid for. scum. and yet far too easy
