3 weeks to go,

in no particular order,

20 cars on the grid
a (sort of) new team in Brawn GP,
massive regulation changes suggesting closer racing,
a completely random set of times out of pre-season testing so far
the return of slick tires
a new circuit in Abu Dhabi

and for those in the Uk,
No adverts during GPs
The return of 'The Chain'

who else is getting excited?!?!

Not forgetting the Beeb, great commentators and pundits... plus great looking cars, shape and livery wise.

I really can't wait for this year. It's the most I've ever looked forward to a new season. I reckon it's going to be a brilliant year :)

It's been many years coming, but my hand rises. :D

Only wish the some of the tracks weren't so dumbed down and mistake-proof, then we'd have F1 like modern-day F1 should be.
Yup most excited I have been for years. Why does the season have to start so late?

"The Chain - yes, the TV theme tune will be the iconic original version of this track, as used by the BBC previously. We feel it is inextricably linked with the BBC and F1, and still the perfect soundtrack for the sport."

Well there you go :)

I'm very much looking forward to the new season. I also hope the ex-Honda team can improve this season so they're not at the back again.

The 2008 season ended 2 weeks later than previous years, so this is why the 2009 season starts 2 weeks later, so the teams have enough time to develop their cars.

tbh I think its more so that the workers get the same amount of time off. Well as a break.
Sim - you just know these 3 weeks will go even slower than then last few months!

Err.. Not exactly. According to Norbert Haug Mercedes-Benz will need some sort of special permission from FIA to be allowed to give enginess to more than 2 teams (McLaren & Force India).

So without this permission Brawn GP wont race atleast with Mercedes-Benz engines.

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?
