Which F1 website has survived 13+ years without update and without closing down?

Yes, it is Pacific Grand Prix
[www.pacificgrandprix.com]

It is certainly quite interesting to have a look at the 'early days' of the internet, and also to look back at the team and drivers itself, in particular the infamous Jean-Denis Deletraz.

It is really quite amazing that the website still works today, apart from some parts of the image gallery and results section.

Mediocre found this site during his research for Pacific. We posted it in our devblog a couple of weeks ago. He also found an old tyrrell-website, which wasn't as spectacular however. This site is a true piece of archeology. :)

Really awesome site! The date of the '95 European GP as well. Hope it stays up and gets preserved.

In November 1995 I got a Mac Performa 5200 that went online. I remember loads of websites like that.

And to think people actually spent time and effort burying things in 1999 when all they had to do was leave a piece of history like this on the net! Amazing :)

It's quite weird if you dig the WHOIS info and webarchive records the site seems to have goneup in 2003 and been changed a few times. Maybe someone put this up just for the hell of it !

Domains expire and need to be reregistered every once in a while. Good agencies have it automatically done, but this would explain the updated DNS-record.

Except that it isn't. ;-) Oxymorons contain two contradictory terms. But I get your point. ;-)

Who was the team principal of Pacific GP?

Nick Wirth. Now that the launch of his new team is just around the corner, he probably wanted his past well and truly buried lol.
