is there going to be a season preview on the BBC ahead of next weekends first race?

ITV normally had one either on the weekend before the first race, or on the friday night before the first race.

I don't think so, just hope they're saving the good stuff for the pre-qualy and pre-race shows.

well in all honesty, ITV always repeated 90% of the preview show content in the Melbourne Pre-race or pre-qualli (teams rundown, driver (sorry, i meant Hamilton) interviews etc) which kinda made the show a little bit pointless.

I've been watching the 1995 season lately, and i can't fault the Beeb's coverage of raceday...

Don't forget the clocks change Saturday night, which is mighty confusing for some!

This is just the TV listings for the BBC. Pretty much the same timeslots as ITV would have had.

'fraid so, bad time to host a race IMO, the clocks change Saturday night, going forward an hour, so the race starts at 6am GMT or 7am BST. Which means coverage is 5am GMT or 6am BST.

Oh dear Jesus. What time do I actually get up? I think I'll get up at 6 and see how that works out for me.

channel 302 and 303 are the red button channels on freeview, i guess sky will have the same thing just an unlabeled channel number, if you can find that i think you should be able to sky plus it.

So Friday and Saturday is normal. Or Saturday and Sunday both messed? Argh, why couldn't they just start the season earlier!

you can't sky+ the red button channels because they don't appear on the EPG.

i'm hoping you'll be able to switch to the red-button feed early enough. that way you would be able to just leave it on overnight and set the video.

Or why can't you just understand something simple like summertime? :P

The clock is being put forward an hour between Saturday and Sunday. That means that we can sleep an hour shorter.

The problem comes with the Aus GP starting early on in the morning. Ordinarily, the broadcasters don't move to BST until 5 or 6am. The listings are such that practice and qualifying are on GMT, and the race is BST. It gets a bit confusing.
