I must say Ross went down massively in my estimation that day with his outburst of MS fanboyism. Anyone could've seen Juan Pablo's move around the outside of Schumacher was gorgeous, perfectly executed, and Ross's comments that time just made him look stupid.

But as a strategist, as an analytical thinker, he strikes me as being one of the best there is.

Exactly. I think it was his JPM comments which really pushed it over the line for me.

JPM did an overtaking, very impressive and gets called un-classy or something. Really annoyed me.

I think tripleM took my opinion a little too far. If you look back you will realize I welcomed the idea of Brawn at Honda, but at the same time admitted I disliked the man.

Well nicley caught out there. I concede, I was wrong.

I was (still am?) quite naive.

At the same of aknowledging Brawn we cant forget Jorg Zander and Loic Bigois ( or however they are spelt! ) both who iam sure have bought alot to the team.

After the thinking Bernie has been doing lately, I just cannot believe he's actually right this time :P

If Macca are competitive then they haven't been sandbagging, they've been outright lying. Have they seriously staged emergency meetings and everything to pull the wool over the other team's eyes? I doubt it. That said, I doubt they'll be at the back of the field. Methinks they'll deffo be good enough for points.

Dont know if they will be good enough for points tbh.

BMW, Ferrari, Renault, Brawn and Toyota are all ahead of them just depends who many cars finish.

You don't waste valuable testing time by doing aerodynamic tests when the car is fine. If the McLaren is suddenly better its because the testing they have done to solve the issues has worked.

They certainly appeared to improve a lot on the last 2 days, but as the midfield is so tight, that could mean anything from 3rd fastest car to 3rd last in my opinion.

Anybody knows why only the Toyota seems to have these amazing exhaust fires? I have not seen them so extreme and frequent on any other car. The area around the exhausts even looks burnt on some photos I have seen.

That happens when unburnt fuel is taken through the exhaust valve and it combusts in the exhaust. Not really the most efficient way of doing things, but very common on downshifting or points when the engine is at less throttle.
