LOL the 08 cars where the most hideous F1 cars ever. Specially the Mclaren and BMW with those horrible horns in the nose cone as well as all those winglets, the cars looked like they had developed stalagmites.

So true. Good to see I'm not the only one who massively disliked the 2008 cars.

There are always the 13-17 year old boys who'll come and post saying they were magnificent :P

The Ferrari looks beautiful in this photo. I'm amazed anyone at all could say that it looked ugly.

At the time I didn't think the 08 cars looked too bad, but after getting used to the 09 cars, I've realised just how cluttered and ugly they were. Engineering marvels, but not exactly Scarlett Johansson in car form, are they?

I still believe that if you think 2008 cars were ugly, it is because you prefer arts over aerodynamics, and I do not try to be offensive.

I actually got used to this year cars, but I do not like that GP2 cars have more downforce now.

I hope most teams to be on the same track to compare their laptimes, I really like the fact that all cars have something special in their shapes.

Supprisingly quite close! Still only testing but I was expecting quite large gaps! tbh as long as the Renault is getting laps in I dont think there will be anything to worry about yet!

Agreed - I think it looks pretty good in this photo, but I'm sure you can guess why! I'm not complaining, though. I love variety in the field. The green tyres look a bit better than they sounded at first to me, as well.
