Legard, Brundle, Coulthard, jordan, kravitz for BBC - Official

Posted by marwood82
That's a sweet piece of commentary. He sounds passionate and into what he's seeing, but totally in control. There's none of the "OMG I'm so overcome I'm gonna cream myself" BS that characterised Allen's commentary. He sounds pretty knowledgeable as well.

Best ever season of F1 commentary coming up, I think!

Very much looking forward to the new season if for nothing more than the line up :D

One bit of mystery still lingers for me - who will the BBC use to fill in for Martin if/when he takes his annual Hungarian Grand Prix off? :P
maybe thats when DC would have a one off race, or Kravitz?

I'm glad Kravitz got taken on, that last race when he was 'doing something highly illegal, but sod it, its our last race' was superb! :D

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

they have used this song at the end of 1998 season on ITV, you know the sort of review clip right at the end of the coverage at final grand prix.

/me still claims if they don't use The Chain by Fleetwood Mac then i won't accept that F1 is actually back on the BBC

What did Kravitz do at the last race?

"Trulli was slowing down like he wanted to have a picnic" LOL

Go on, spill the beans. :)
he was standing in the pitlane when he shouldn't have been in the last few laps, and said "i'm standing in the pitlane which is highly illegal, but sod it, it's our last race!". wasn't that amazing tbh.

RIP Jules, never to be forgotten. #KeepFightingMichael
I think for the intro the BBC will use a modernised version of The Chain. They know we all want the chain but the old intros have no impact anymore.

he was jsut making th emost of things eh probably wouldnt do if it wasnt the last race.

like standing in from of the brazillian fans and taunting them with a union jack, gyrating, and getting beer lobbed at his face, and laughing at them. was quite funny! :P

Always like Kravitz, just seemed quite friendly. Glad to see BBC have taken him as well as Brundle on. :)
This lad fronting the show is a bloody idiot.

Just watching the Sports Personality thing now, he's repulsive. I will be switching on 5 mins before the races i think.

Was that him presenting sports personality?? It's like having James Allen but on camera!

yep i don't like him either :(

steve slater is better from the rest
Let's face it - he'll be better than Steve Rider. At least Jake is neutral, whereas Steve's (ITV influenced??) bias towards Hamilton bugged me.

I only saw a snippet of Jake on Sports Personality 2008, but from what I've seen on the programmes that he's done in the past, he's a down-to-earth, sensible, factual presenter.

I couldn't stop laughing, however I hope nobody makes one for James Allen.

LMAO.

That was quite hilarious, but also very concerning.
