It's apparently fair game when you're bashing Lewis Hamilton for it though.

- Hamilton: Thinks he's the **** and no one can touch him. I hope someone drops him off his cloud. Doesn't deserve to win the WDC imo.

- Räikkönen: He doesn't seem to care about anything or anyone. Bad team player. I seem to dislike him less if I'm watching ITV stream instead of the Finnish broadcast.

- Bourdais: Mainly because he was a whiney ***** in the States. Has shown signs of improvement but that might be because he has not proven himself in F1 and knows to keep his mouth shut for now.

I think ITV has pretty much ruined the thoughts of the British public on Hamilton. From what I've seen, he seems a nice guy. I can not at all remember having seen him behaving like is described here.

Nah, the general British public (or English at least) love him to bits. Those who dislike the other side of him are usually people who have been watching F1 for a decade or more.

For me it's got nothing to do with ITV or the media. I hate them for it, but it doesn't change my opinion on Hamilton.

Surprised Piquet is on so many lists. I don't like him at all, and he has been useless so far, but I don't dislike him. He's just there.

I don't personally have a least favourite driver, I don't mind most of them, I think Piquet shouldn't be in F1, but I don't hate him, Hamilton is a good driver, is just unfortuante itv and the press think he is god. Alonso, I have respect for him, actually quite like him.

But to be fair, I never once liked Michael Schumacher since I saw him first in 2000, maybe it was because I didn't usually root for winners then, but since then, his antics have been poor (Monaco 06). So him.

I quite dislike Piquet to be honest, when he took the Renault seat he said something along the lines of 'I'm replacing someone whose career is nearly over' (Fisichella)
Hope those words come back to haunt him and Renault ditch him, ending his career..
He's crap anyway, Yamamoto would have got closer to Alonso in qualifying ;)

Okay, maybe it's better not to feed a troll but I'd like to take the oportunity here and get some things straight. Freedom of Speech is essential, however there are rules to be followed. These rules are not subject to discussion.

Christijan Albers - Arrogant guy, shite driver, and has a silly J in his name which is not only not needed, it makes me feel stupid cause no matter where I put it, it doesn't look right.

Nelson Piquet Jr - Has done NOTHING all year. I wasn't at all surprised when he was the first to reverse his car into the Singapore barriers.

Lewis Hamilton - Clearly a good driver but I don't like the way he comes across in interviews, and I'm sick of seeing the same shot of his father peering out of the garage every week with the look on his face akin to what you would get from a pensioner who has found some teenagers trampling his flowers.

Giancarlo Fisichella - Used to love the guy but he really has seen his day now. "I am very 'appy" - no, you're not. Go and buy a vinyard. And stop wearing the silly sunglasses.

Amen to both points discussed there. I don't hate Hamilton. I just don't like him. He's far too cocky for me and the British press especially the ITV F1 crew don't help there bigging him up.

Don't really get the Piquet hate either. He's not done anything to be loved or hated. He's just a driver in F1. Don't really get that bit at all.

An F1 driver yes, because he drives an F1 car. However he is substandard and reminds us a bit of certain former drivers from Japan and at least one from Argentina.

On the other hand even champs and those who are aspiring the title have shown considerably more performances that were out of question than I have seen in most other seasons I can remember off the top of my head.

I agree he is slow. But is that reason to actually hate him? Perhaps just dislike him for stopping a talented driver from taking the Renault seat this year but hate? Bit strong when imho he hasn't actually done anything to justify being hated.

He is not only slow but also quite erratic.

But feling hatred? A strong word to be used loosely. Hatred is something very personal and involves strong emotions. People talk about it every day but actually they mean "dislike" or something. Most of them have never felt real hatred and this is something they should be glad of.

Where is this discussion on hate coming from?

u can name the driver that u don't like

Don't like != hate

Piquet is a waste of a decent seat.

I don't dislike any drivers on the current grid (actually, I've never disliked any of them). Piquet does irritate me a lot, because I feel he's wasting space and denying somebody else the opportunity, but then my cats irritate the hell outta me sometimes and that doesn't mean I dislike them.

If I had to choose the driver I'd most like to see out of F1 next year, it'd be Nelsinho. After that, Trulli. At present, what does he add to the grid, other than being an inventive obstacle for others to try adn drive around?

To be honest Jarno is only an obstacle because he is so fast in qualifying, his race pace isn't quite as good but he's still a good driver IMO.

Well, I have always thought that Hamilton speaks with a certain amount of tongue in cheek, but can come across as arrogant. Top driver though.

As for my list:

Piquet - Getting found out now he isn't driving for his own custom made team. Haven't liked him since he flouted the testing ban in South American F3 by fitting wheel arches to his car and calling it a sportscar. Also read last year that Renault weren't impressed with his testing pace/attitude, but ultimately he got the seat because the team didn't want someone to match Alonso. They are reaping what they sow now.

Alonso - Undeniably a huge talent - one of the best. But the attitude is absolutely awful. Last year, I wouldn't have blamed McLaren if they had stood him down after Hungary. Not sure what he expects if he goes to Ferrari one day...

Ricardo Rosset - Way out of his depth - I remember the famous Murray/Martin commentary from Monaco, which made me LOL.

I can't find a clip of it, but basically, Rosset spun at Monaco, qualifying I think, and in trying to get back on track managed to crash his car into the opposite barrier.

The commentary over it was:

Walker: A lot of people here are really debating whether Ricardo Rosset is Formula One material.
Brundle: Well, it’s a fairly short debate, Murray.

If anyone can find a clip, it is very funny.
