So who saw the British GP trohpy?
Is it me or is it EXACTLY the same as the German GP trophy?

Its Santander made and I must say I cant beleive how shite they look.

I havent noticed the others throughout the season but what happened to the steering wheel ones, the actual trophy ones or the large round ones (trophys worth winning !!) ? Not some stupid corporate santander logo that looks like a pile wank!

Yes, they were exactly the same. It's a shame sponsors have such a big influence on everything. They should just paste their name on a billboard and give money, not change nice looking trophies into their hideous logo.

indeed chet. it really does look like a pile of bollocks now that santander is sponsoring every other legendary race that used to give really awesome trophys. Looks like Hungary and Monza are going to the same too :(. Glad to see Jenson got the last of the good ones

I thought the jim clark trophy was the one you got at the german gp?? And all we had was that ugly peice of whatever its made of lol! thing is it does look unique like they should. put it this way, if they were cars the german gp trophy and the british gp trophys would be kia pacantos and the old ones, lets say that jim clark trophy would be a lovley handcrafted morgan! :p

You obviously never saw the Sonic the Hedgehog trophy Tom Wheatcroft gave Senna, for winning the 1993 European gp at Donington then :p

Seems apt, since there were 220 litres in each car at the start of the race...

I think that these santander trophies will cause a marketing conflict... did anyone noticed that Nelson, being in a team ING SPONSORED, was receiving a SANTANDER TROPHY... I wonder if ING would moan about it.

But atleast those trophys were in connection with racing and not some corporate logo
