Hakkinen's house burns down

Just read this on F1-Live! Apparently his three-floor villa in the South of France has been destroyed, and he had to flee the building with two women - one of which is though to be his girlfriend. But a dog died. Sadwoof.

Blaze started because of, ironically, a faulty wire in a display cabinet which he was displaying his trophies. That's sad :(

I still don't get the whole divorce thing. Leaves F1 to stay with his wife and kid, then gets divorced and ends up in France with two random women. Mad.

Glad he's okay!

Shame his dog died :(

Reading 'sadwoof' made me laugh. (I feel quite guilty)
Never heard that word before.

So the fire was started by the silly idea of having lights and other stuff on his trophy display. Good going, Mika.

Silly idea? Yeah, all these sports stars and teams are silly - but don't worry, Gui is here to correct your mistakes!

Don't Mclaren keep all the original trophies and only allow drivers to keep copies?
Still, trophies don't matter much. It's what you do to win them that counts.

Absolutely! I'd definitely help people cut down on electricity usage/energy waste by several hundred kw/h per month!

Damn that's a shame. Reminds me of what happened to Luc Longley.
