Martin placed 8th, 7th & 6th in the three races. 22secs off the lead in R1, 4secs off in R2 & 6secs off in R3. Pretty respectable I'd say.

Oh, and he beat his kid in the last 2 races.......

Good for Martin in that he is still quick-ish. But he's effectively scuppered his lad's chances for the future...'Ah, your the one who got whooped by your old-old man!'

he means (quite obviously imo) that brundle will be in spa this weekend and thus not monaco and thus not commentating and thus there will be no decent commentary.
