How many pitlanes does a circuit have eh???

They use the pitlane but don't 'share' the garages per say. They use them during their race as somewhere to store tyres and their own spares so they can do their pitstops. Also, they use the F1 team gantry's. They are all assigned by the FIA i believe.

they have their own paddock, then for the race the teams have tires and pit stop tools moved to the pitlane usually on trolly's towed by quad bikes.

they use the same pitlane as f1 and just use the space infront of the f1 teams garages

at bahrain the gp2 asia series had used the 2nd pitlane (on the back straight) but that the only track i know where they do that.

dunno about pit lanes but at Silverstone last year GP2 "Garages" (basically their trucks) were behind F1 garages and motorhomes, I saw Hamilton and his car with some mechanics, their operating area was this truck with a makeshift roof on its side under which they worked at. Its a HUGE gap from GP2 to F1 in terms of facilities from what I saw, despite GP2 being the next step down from formula one.

er, not last year but year before last when Hamilton was still in gp2.

Suzuka (when used) has a 2nd pit lane also does Malaysia, but as I've never watched a GP2 race, I cant comment!
Suzuka's second pitlane I've never seen in use, and it's on the run from Spoon to 130R. Malaysia's second pitlane is on the penultimate straight, and isn't used for GP2.

That'll be because until GP2 Asia came along, GP2 never raced there.

Suzukas second pit lane isn't up to standard. It is only really used for regional events on the west circuit.
