Bruno Senna hit a dog in the GP2 support race, one of 2 which got onto the track at the same time... very dangerous situation, but thankfully Senna's fine. The same can't be said of his car or the dog.

Trulli at Jordan was also very unlucky, just like rubens

Yeah, that was savage. Ridiculous situation though, and for there to be 2 on the track at opposite ends of the circuit is unforgivable. When F1 used to visit Mexico City, there was a stray dog problem as the circuit was in the central park in the city. They combated it by send squads out every evening and shooting every stray they came across.

But Istanbul Park is in the middle of nowhere! There cant be too much to eat out there for a stray. I am hoping that they didn't allow some spectators to bring their pets not realising the danger. I cant believe that would happen at an FIA sanctioned event though, so probably more likely to be stray.

This has to get cleared up before the GP otherwise it could be ANOTHER embarrassing gaff for the Turkish Organisers. (Im referring to the political podium fiasco of a few years ago)

eekkk that was lucky one then I guess. I'd hate to imagine what would happen if an F1 car hit an animal!!!!

Button hit a pigeon at Melbourne in a BAR once. Wasn't particularly exciting, but it happened all the same.

Kovalainen so unlucky again :( tyrepressure was maybe the problem for him ....why McLaren spoiled his chances to points with 3 stop strategy ?I can't understand and neither did even Heikki's manager :s

An easier thing would have been to turn the TV off, but then to do that may have required too much thought?

autogyro - It was moving around quite alot, but in turbulent air, the little aerials at the front and pitot tubes were also moving quite alot.

Heikki's problem was a puncture and he got it when he and Kimi touched at the first corner. Kimi broke his front wing there.

Raikkonen just said in the press con that he and Kovalainen had some contact on the start. He was running with a damaged front wing and Kovy got a tyre puncture.
