Bruce Willis to play Murrey Walker in a F1 film

Die Hard star Bruce Willis is tipped to play Formula One commentator Murray Walker on the big screen.
According to newspaper reports, the Hollywood actor will play Murray in a forthcoming film about the life of Formula One champion Michael Schumacher.
In the film, the character is expected to narrate the tale as well as feature alongside Schumacher.
Willi Weber, a former Formula One champion (ORLY?} and Schumacher's agent said: "Bruce Willis would certainly do Murray justice."
Weber added: "A Hollywood producer is interested. It would be called The Michael Schumacher Story, with him as the main actor."
Walker was the voice of the BBC's Formula One coverage for almost half a century until he switched when ITV won the rights.
Walker admitted to being a bit "shell-shocked" when he found out that Bruce Willis was going to play him in the film.
He said: "I had to make sure when looking at the calendar that it was April 25 not April 1."
He said jokingly: "I always regarded Bruce Willis as a mirror image of myself, don't you know...a much younger version though."

if they have Schumacher as himself, i'm sure it would be better to have murray as himself.

I think the film would be good, I really can't see (or hear) Willis being able to replicate Murrays voice though.
What ever happened to the Gilles Villeneuve movie? Gone the same way as the Senna movie?

Why? There would be good entertainment (because films are about that) if Jerry Bruckheimer would make a no-brainer with big moments. Directed by Michael Bay or Tony Scott, music by Hans Zimmer, and Schumacher played by..ermmm...anyone who fits well, haha

Driven was a bad movie if you watch the reality side, its ok. But its not all about. Its a no brainer entertainment. For real facts, watch discovery science. Anyway Driven was an important film, because I watched it in a student hostel and my mates downloaded(later they bought certainly-wink) gp4 while we watched it and at the end installed and watched for the 1st time, haha
But if you give it to a good director like Oliver Stone (haha), then it would be a masterpiece. We know that directors like the Scott brothers and Stone can make movies worth watching. Any Given Sunday (Stone -AlPacino sport film), Days Of Thunder(Scott-nascar film) or if they make a tv like movie like the "3" about Earnhardt that will be good too. And Schumi has the caliber that Hollywood can make a big film about him, because it will be huge success in the Cassa

a Schumi movie would be boring unless they were to show what goes on in the background and the favorings he had. Still, being a movie it means it would cost US$9 to watch it and Schumi's life isn't interesting enough to charge 20% of that
