If it isn't real, why isn't Max Mosley suing the notw for libel or slander, rather than invasion of privacy?

And to be fair, whilst NOTW/Bild/MoS are a bit dodgy, The Times is pretty respectable ...

Perhaps, but it's again just quoting the NotW as the source, then adding some quotes from outsiders.

The only telling thing is that he (or his spokespersons) haven't denied any involvement.

I've searched for actual evidence of legal action for invasion of privacy, but again, all I can find is "quotes" from NotW, repeated by the Times.

Until a better news source comes forward with actual sources and not the NotW, I'm still listing this as "complete bollocks"...as much as I'd love it to be true.

Like father like son.

Ive always thought it natural people follow in their parents beliefs etc. With Max ive not thought any different and assumed he quietly did still believe in his fathers way of life :p

Thing with this story, whether it is true or not how can he be taken seriously in the pitlane anymore lol? Everytime people look at him they will think of this ;)!

oh come on, whats with people on here lately living in denial, first nobody wanted to believe that Massa lost it on his own even though he himself admitted it was a mistake and Ferrari said the same thing. Now you with your denial about this story with Max, it is TRUE deal with it.

oh and drop the drink driving thing, its not interesting anymore and it doesnt make me guilty or what ever you trying to do....

Wait until you read something about it from a reputable source. Until he confirms it happens or apologises for it or whatever. Until the only information is from the least respectable tabloid in the UK, the tabloid that's constantly having to apologise for writing about events that didn't happen, then treat it with a degree of scepticism. The only 'proof' (that video and the still screen grabs) are all far too low quality and far too easily altered to be more than a hint.

I doubt there's many that don't want this to be true, but that doesn't automatically mean it is.

ITV have picked it up now, saying they've spok to an FIA spokesperson

Another media sting op? Really, had it not been dragged up into the public domain for all to see with some only then guaranteed to be offended, who cares? Why do the media, every bit as despicable as their subjects, do it, so that a mass of nobodies can point their fingers and be entertained/relieved by a notable's apparent disaster? The voyeurism of the fall can be as questionable as the act.

News.com.au printed the same article, but it doesn't actually say whether the story is true or not, they're just acknowledging that a story was printed and that the FIA have distanced themselves from it.

The only people that said Massa didn't lose the car himself were the fanboys and the narrow minded. The only people that believe this story are Max' anti-fanboys and the narrow minded. See the link?

As for the story itself, I can't believe it. Not at the present moment anyway. As said, the video and pics are of way too low quality. Anyone who looks like Mosley a bit could have been in that video.
