I think it's the ugliest car ever! Why couldn't they design a good looking livery?

Fresh pictures of a brand new Honda RA 109 for 2009 season.

Completely eco friendly, manufactured manually from recycled wood. No plastycs, polyesters, carbon
fiber materials were used whatsoever. During the process of manufacturing each worker was assigned to plant
an Oak tree in his garden. Only workers who eat vegetables were taking part in the manufacturing proccess.
No animals or plants were harmed during the process.




And there is more, a brand new Research and development centre is unvieled in the middle of atlantic ocean, it is powered by
solar energy and engeneers that are working on it eat only plankton and dring sea water. White Whale was appointed as the chief
designer.

I never said it was ironic. I was countering another argument put forward. I don't just fight my own battles, I'm quite happy to look at and judge views I don't value or subscribe to.

Of course, but until we know how much mass there is, we can't do much about it. We just have to make a calculated estimation based on the information we do have. The more weight, the more my argument is being supported anyway.

My first point wasnt directed at you, sorry. it was just a general comment to those who thought Honda's fuel guzzling CO2 spewing F1 car was ironic.

edit - and could we not assume an aircraft minus the passangers, seats, and passenger conforts would weight less than an average aircraft, even with two f1 cars onboard.

its not that ironic, cos in general they are making a bigger effort, whats 2 f1 car that race 300km every second week?

although i guess thats the definition of the word ironic, but still i dont see it as something to laught at.

You guys are going far past my point. Even those 22 planes for carrying the f1 teams aren't really a problem, as there are thousands of planes flying every single day.

The only thing you can say is that f1 isn't a green sport. But saying the sport by itself is causing environmental problems goes to far.

People are currently talking about the advertisements and the issue that the advertisements are promoting in this very thread.

Sounds like they are doing their job to me.

Ofcourse, i never doubted it's a good iniative.

TC, it was a point I was going to make earlier, but about it being ugly to some, quite alot lol.

What's another thing is most of the brands of the other cars are recognizable by most.

When they had myearthdream last year, and this year earth dreams, i wonder how many poeple will google it.

I wonder why they chose north Africa for the earth part of the car and its been edited aswell.

The livery looks fantastic on track though :D

the car is shaping up nicely, it was very empy at the beginning. The rear wing looks also pretty good.
