Yeah he is a DICK. Not content with being handed the '07 title on a plate by the FIA (Ferrari International Assistance), he now tries to suggest that Mclaren have actually copied off his cars.

He strikes me as something of a sad man who has become so up himself he has forgotten how the world works. He needs to spend a week in a mud hut to rid himself of some of his arrogance.

I most say I hate also McLaren Führer Ron Dennis but Montezemolo have totally lost the ball. He should get nickname 'Iceman' because of how lost he is. I remember sometime ago he also said everybody should just forget whole thing and in next sentence he was saying he will praice that person who did bring case to public.. :S :D

I thought the FIA had said that they had checked McLaren's new 2008 car for this? If they have and they cleared it then I would have thought McLaren could just personally sue Montezemolo for slander?

montezemolo is too much of a politician. and he makes ferrari look more like a criminal mafia family then a sports team. he should go back to the drawing board and grow a penis and stop taking anal from max mosley.

You dont hear mclaren going on about renault.

He is just looking for a reason if ferrari get beat and is looking stupid.

At the end of the day no one is saying what happened at mclaren is right but the FIA have checked the car and passed it now.

Its all in the passed and should just be left there same as things ferrari have got away with in the passed.

After all Nigel still says the info went both ways yet ferrari have never had their cars looked at.

I agree Luca shouldn't have made those comments and it should all be forgotten now, but McLaren are in no position to point the finger at anyone else, or make comments to Renault saying that their R28 will be a copy of the MP4-22.

we can only accept the verdicts as they have been given - that McLaren were guilty and used Ferrari info, that Ferrari didn't use any McLaren info (if they had any; who's gonna believe Stepney?), and that Renault had McLaren info but didn't gain anything.

The FIA have passed the mclaren legal so that should be good enough for ferrari.

hey guys i don't want to start an argument here, but when was the Mclaren cleared or declared legal?, i might be lost a bit here, but as far as i know, when FIA inspected the 2008 car, they spoted some Ferrari technology in it, so they call for another hearing in late february so that Mclaren would have time to remove it, but then Mclaren publicly appologized for the whole year and incident and then the FIA said they would trust them and cancelled the other hearing...

if it is like this, then DiMontezemolo has every right to doubt about mclaren's car, well after 2007, but if it's not, then he's just being paranoid

The mclaren got cleared when they said 3 developments on the car will be removed and stopped. They also admitted the info got spread around more than they thought.

The FIA then cancelled the Feb meetings.

DiMontezemolo is just stirring things up again probably trying to put mclaren off and hoping other people stop investing in the team.

All he will acheive is that mclaren will go and be totally bought by merc sooner rather than later.

Ferrari are not squeeky clean no teams are and should remember what ferrari have got away with in the past. They tend to break rules and claim ignorance eg how comes every team got the email in japan last year but not ferrari, had the race gone fully under safety car they would have won due to being forced to stop. They should have been dq from that race.

Anyway dont wanna start another row,
