BMW f1.08

Today another topteam, the Bayerische Motoren Werke will present their new contender to the world.

I am looking forward, i hope the guys from Bavaria are able to win some races this year (and have created a nice looking car.)

Yeah, i like the nose and livery on that. Reminds me of the mp4-20 btw. Shame that awefull frontwing is still there...

well I think that front wing will change before Melbourne for sure but really I'm not too amazed about this car...it doesn't look so different as Heidfeld said it would look like

Like the paint scheme on the nose.

I kind of like it....The car appears far more smooth than it predessecors. (which is mainly due to the new nose)
I got to agree that it is nowhere near as exciting as Heidfeld has hinted, though it is one of the better looking cars of our time. I hope they make the next step and give McLaren and Ferrari a good fight for their money.

Even though I'm a complete Ferrari head, I would love nothing more than B.M.W. and Nick to pick up a win (or some!) this season. I just love the way B.M.W. is approaching it's work in F1.

*edit* LOL, I love the r-factor style 'spinner' too!

Yes, they are an example of a humble + ambitious work, although sooner or later they will need a top driver if they want to win the tittle. Heidfeld and Kubica are competent drivers, but without a driver like Raikkonen or Alonso it will be difficult. With Alonso on the market I would have done anything to get him and wait a little bit more before announce the drivers. Who knows now if Alonso+Renault will be in front of them...

Heidfeld is good enough to win the championship. He's been very consistent last year, has loads of experience, has beaten Ferrari/McLaren several races last year and so on. Hopefully the f1.08 is fast! It sure looks great though

Looks like Heidfeld updated his helmet, too...

Looking at the paint work right at the front on the nose cone was like looking at the mclaren in 1998, just the paint not the car.

Like most cars this is just a tidy up of last years car.
