His own mistake that he didnt win.. And this year he was really lucky. Not that anybody would have earned title more than him anyway if watching back to the spy thing..

Well yeah, sorta. I'm sure that if the team weren't banned from the championship, they would've contested the Hungary decision and would've most likely won.

knowing that Lewis and Heikki are both unexperienced drivers, will Pedro have an important role in developing the McLaren???

nope drivers don't really develop cars they give feedback how they want their car to be like...and that isn't really difficult

It's not just a case of saying "well, there's too much understeer at xxx" though. As a basic example, more more useful would be say "well, it feels like the diff is pushing the car on turn-in to turn xxx - perhaps we could do yyy?" The level of feedback in this era of telemetry and computer-generated settings is still important. The only person driving the car has to feel comfortable with it - potential speed is no use whatsoever if the driver can't feel confident pushing it.

Heikki is apparently a pretty deft hand technically, so it shouldn't be too difficult. I guess Pedro's main role will be getting the car to a decide base before the season starts - giving Hamilton and Kovalainen a strong starting point.

Meh! Wish he coulda stayed at Renault.
