EDIT: on the other hand howewer after reading that article I think that maybie toyota is more realistic option, bare in mind that Alonso has yet to score big money to secure te future for himself and his fammily for the rest of his and their lives.

Timo Glock will drive for Toyota next season according to f1-live.

Hes not gonna wanna stay at Mclaren for another year, and Renault have said they want him back. And a move to Toyota is a pretty bad career move lol.

Renault aren't exactly at the front of the grid at the moment. Does anybody seriously expect them to win races (plural) next year? I'll donate my savings to a children's orhpanage (all $4.75 of it) if they manage to win one race, Alonso or no Alonso.

If I were him, and McLaren really aren't a viable option, I'd be doing everything I can to sit my ass in a Red Bull Renault or a BMW Sauber next year.

They sure as hell will be a lot closer, and they already know where they went wrong (weight distribution adapting to the Bridgestones apparently). Assuming they get their sums right I don't see why they can't win races, drivers depending. They are of course a season behind McLaren and Ferrari, but they'll be all right. There's enough variables going into 2008 for them to have the chance again.

If Alonso dont win Championship then nothing keep him in McLaren. It is very obvious that he is not happy in McLaren and his mate Hamilton.
Will Alonso leave McLaren, I'm not sure but I'm sure that anything can happend, just wait end of season and see what is happening in (fastest) circus (in the world).

Alonso will go to Renault if he can get out of his McLaren contract and then Heikki will go to McLaren according to very strong rumours here in Finland.but still just a rumour...anyway I can't see Alonso to continue with McLaren .
