Deja vu here, lol, Anthony Davidson stopped out on track. Red flag. I reported the same (only yellow flag) in the last race FP2 lol.

Hit the nail on the head I think. Whip all the downforce off and it's not losing out as much relatively, compared to the tracks where downforce has to work effectively.

yeah :D I think Hamilton has done very good and he has done longer stints than Alonso...maybe Kimi has some problems? he has been away from the track over 30 minutes..

Session over...Alonso is on fire! Nearly a full second clear of anyone else and about 1.5 faster than the ferraris. Fisi, Kubica and Rosberg are looking quite good too, up there beating the ferrari cars also.

By the looks of it, Hamilton has parked the car on the way back to the pits?

Alonso did 2 x 3 lap stints so his speed isn't really that good at all, when he did longer stitns his times were slower than Hamilton's and similar with both ferraris....on long stints Ferrari and McLaren seems to be very close .Kimi had some kind of problems because he spent over 1 hour in the pit.

Alonso set his fastest time on soft tyres on the same length stint as others and no one got close. That is the report in autosport.

Kimi had a hydrolics problem thats what kept him in the pits.

The ferraris were off the pace in the 2nd session but we saw their pace in the 1st session so they may have more fuel on them.

no not true at all what autosport said ,I followed livetiming and I have practise taped on video and will watch when home...example kimi did 2 stints 1 5 lap and 1 7 lap stint at the end of the session ...alonso started session with 5 lap stint and their times with kimi were 1,23,8 ...alonso then came back to the track and did 1,22,7 and came in...then he came back again and did 1,22,3 and got back in.-...after that alonso did times about 1,23,8 and above 1,24..Ferrari never did less than 5 laps.

I think mclaren will have the edge in quali that has been the case in most races this year but ferrari more constistant in the race.

We saw in testing that its very close will be and interesting race but I dont think there will be much passing due to the rev limiter on the cars.

Even if the times were correct they've done all their testing in the week before. Providing the weather has remained stable there's no need to do many laps. They're pretty much just bedding the cars in and checking for problems.

I hope they eventually get rid of that rev limit, ban refuelling and have a fuel limit instead.
