François Cévert was an excellent pianist, having played it for 18 years or so

Pfft. de Angelis, yes. Never heard Cevert, I'm afraid. But Sutil? Nah. My dad is a capable pianist ;) He plays at functions locally, and the sound of piano music drifting through the house is a familiar occurence. The piece I heard playing on the ITV-F1 programme from Sutil wasn't all that great, to be honest.

Kimi Raikkonen likes to blow his own trumpet a lot of the time. Fish-ichella likes the double bass. And there are frequent insinuations that David Coulthard got the horn from Louise Goodman.

Not strictly an instrument but Alonso is supposedly very good at card tricks. I say 'supposedly' because I'm not too sure, not because I'm being sarcastic lol.

Villeneuve and Salo are known as good friends who plays guitar. Dunno do they play together but anyway..

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

Da Matta played the guitar too, I remember it was on ITV back when he was in F1.

He's actually a fairly accomplished drummer, in fact. Him and Damon had a band going for a little while.

Its a shame we dont see more documentaries about F1 drivers, to see what they are like, what they do outside F1...

ITV used to have mini documentaries about drivers in their pre race build ups. I remember ones about Trulli, Fisichella and Button.

well they were only mini docs, but at least they showed more about what these people are like and for once they were not talking about F1. I am not saying bring those back in that exact format, maybe make a proper documentary about some (all?) of the drivers to watch during season break?

those features are surely a better option than yet another feature about how Jenson is struggling this season, or how amazing Lewis Hamilton is?

I agree, I would like them back. It's good to see the drivers in their natural environments and seeing them as they are. I remember when they even got Montoya and his wife to make a video diary of a race weekend, which was very good! Was interesting seeing Trulli in the vinyards too, lol. And I cant agree more with the last two points...less about Hamilton please! Fair enough he's an english guy and its a british program but enough is enough. I say get more of those Insight programs by Brundle on the go and get some of these documentaries back again.

Edit: Actually, didnt we have a mini one with Heikki at the start of the season?

I want to see a Kubica or Thiessen documentry. Those guys were brilliant to fans at Silverstone.

Kubica came across as a lovely bloke a few weeks ago when I met him briefly. He was doing photos with fans but the hotel guard pulled him back as people were going obsessive and pushing, telling his it was enough.

Kubica released himself from the guard and pushed him aside, did a diversion from the people encouraging him to go into the hotel and continued to sign autographs.

He talked to EVERY waiting fan in the line outside the hotel even if just a few words and a pic/autograph before he went for his dinner.

Top bloke, and got a HUGE cheer and applause from EVERYONE there :)

BMW are at least good to their fans.

Massa too was another, surprisingly! And humourous to a fat english bald guy who was declaring his love to him.

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

Kubica was apparently an arse to F1 Racing during a photoshoot/interview, according to the latest issue.
