a quote from kimi

"The quick lap at the end? I was a bit bored with spending the whole race behind another car and so I tried to see how quick I could have been. In Monza I will have to try and do a good qualifying to be in the best possible situation for the race."

LOL! Kimi you dick ;) Why didn't you 'see how fast you could go' all race :)

When you're infront, and that close, it's not really about 'matching' pace, as you're the one in clear air so in theory you should have it easy.

That race was a paerfect example of how aero/technical regs are screwing up F1

So much potential for close battles.... Alonso Heidfeld, Raikkonen Massa, Kovalinen with quite a few drivers... yet it was just plain follow-my-leader...

I dont hate Bruno Senna, Lucas Di Grassi and Nelson Piquet Junior. They are the future of Brazils motorsport glory :) unlike these 2 losers that are in F1 now :)

Number 5 served to MS in 2006, hence why I hate him - he served to an overrated driver! and tbh number 5 has nothing special nor has talent, hes just - like MS - the wrong guy at the right time and in the right car. Raikkonen is far more gifted with talent than him, hence why I am always annoyed when the damn finn settles for 2nd when hes behind him. C'mon, Raikkonen!

Number 8 by the same reason why I hate Number 5. Served years to MS, and also I'll never forgive him for what he did at A1-Ring, letting MS through to win. And when MS is retired, the idiot left the best car to drive in a crap team led by a driver far more gifted with talent than him. Kudos to JB for a class overtake at DC - in a car that is supposed to be better than Honda, now shut up your mouth when talking about Button, David! ;)

it's not Kimi's fault to settle for 2nd ,Jean Todt told both drivers not to race against each other after Hamilton was out of the win battle.

Lol, you've got to like his honesty.
Both Kimi and Fernando have missed out on better finishes by making too many mistakes in qualifying, their race pace has been good all season.

Tbh even if that was true i couldn't see any way for Kimi to get past Felipe, the general lack of overtaking compared with the GP2 races sums it up really.

yeah Kimi said it was impossible to even try to overtake because in current F1 it's very hard to follow other car.

I've never understood that though. You can see plenty of cars driving very close behind each other. What makes it so hard?

rules :) you can ask this from every driver and they will tell the very same thing...yes if your car is 1 second faster it's easier to follow other car but if you are like BMW and McLaren at Istanbul were you saw that Alonso had difficulties to control the car behind Heidfeld...they say that the car will lose aerodynamic behind other car so it makes it very hard to follow other car so close.

Absolutely agree, If Alonso is behind Hamilton is because Hamilton looks to me like a specialist in qualifying. Alonso is not. It reminds me a little like in 2004, when Trulli did fantastic qualifying laps and Alonso always had to recover positions during the race...

What a bore fest this was. Enough said to be honest. Drivers of the day were Nick Heidfeld and Heikki Kovalainen IMO.

It was a very boring race the only action was the lewis tyre problem.

Normally Turkey is ok.

This 19,000 rpm rule has really hurt overtaking this year.

Yes, cos MS was just lucky to have won 7 world titles *rolls eyes*

Never argue with an idot. They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

No, last year Turkey was bad also and so was in 2005. People praise the circuit for Turn 8, but it's yet to produce a great race.

Maybe I should upload the F1Career-Sim.com turkish GP replay. Certainly it was much more exciting than the real life one. ;)
