You're always the first to point out when English people claim a Scot as a Brit when they're winning, and when an English guy is doing well they're always English. ;)

Yes, I've read some some of those posts. I think Nationality is very important to Dave.

Back to Istanbul. I think Fernando is looking well placed. He'll get his stint on Hard tires out of the way, and be running in relatively clean air, that is of course if a B.M.W. doesn't get in front of him, and the other 3 on softs are quick enough to pull out a gap to him.

I didn't see Massa's lap, was it a great one? The wrong Ferrari is on pole I.M.O. Hamilton must be feeling really smug!

You should realise they don't have to start the race on the tyres they qualified on... ;-)

SPECTACULARLY missed the point there :P The topic is supporting drivers and Im REALLY not a DC fan and even less of a Susie Stoddart fan :P My favorite drivers are both American! Edit: The only Scots I really support are Dario/Marino, but thats more for obvious reasons. I also support the other drivers i talk to.

Nationality outside supporting people is a different matter, thats quite important. If we didnt have nations then I'd be stuck with the English NHS and school systems, which are pathetic :P

cuz in ferrari the pilot that finish the Q2 better receives the car privilege of fight for the pole-position by having the car 1 or 2 laps slighter than the other increasing the chances of starts in 1st.

ofc the another pilot has to deal with the heavier car in fact of turkey , massa.

I assume you work there, because you know all that?

I've just read Button has had his engine changed after Q2, so that's P22 for him.

Turkey has far more exciting races than Monza these days and much better corners too!

All the corners at Monza other than the 1st chicane are better than everything at Turkey other than T8.

True, but Monza races are still stunningly boring.

I just thought about that and realized I've actually never been bored by a Monza event. I love watching them race at the place. I'm not just saying this to start something...I just really love the races at Monza (being a fan of Schumacher.M. of course helps!LOL.) It's like Belgium Spa, and Suzuka (admittedly only when you are there in the flesh) nothing boring about it.

I don't 'get' boredom and f1 races in the second half of the year.

i think lewis is the lightest, then kimi, massa, then alonso being the heaviest out of the top 4.

Q: Question for all four of you: we saw a lot of
drivers going off the circuit today with minimal
penalty; is that something we're going to see in
the race, is it something that you approve of?
It's interesting to see mistakes relatively
unpenalised?

What sort of question is that? It's called 'finding the limit' isn't it, or do you want everyone to tiptoe round?

dave ellis is insulting me, please help

ROFL that cracked me up. Noone cares.

+1 for that. His final laps in Q1 and Q2 were pretty heroic, even if that's only comparing him to Sato ;)
