no way is he on 4 stops.

i really doubt that

he is on a 3 stopper thats all - with a short first stint - which would explain his 6 tenths margin over anyone else

unless he did a blindingly good lap which could be the case

same with webber, at the australian GP i asked him if he was 3-stopping and he smailed and said "wait and see: and he was on a 3-stopper, with a 8 lap first stint, i reckon this season will be mostly like that, 3 stopping with a very short first stint.

yeh, there is no way a team will use a 4 stopper, they will have a very short stint, have a longer pitstop.

in ten years of refueling ive never known anyone intentionally do a 4 stopper, cant see it happening myself

Pit lane speed limits have been raised this year to make 4 stops a serious option

"yeh, there is no way a team will use a 4 stopper, they will have a very short stint, have a longer pitstop."

what about imola??? the pit lane in imola is very short, you don`t loose more than 7 seconds now, when the pit limit is raised. so in imola is quite possible, that we will se 4 stops. and also this is possible in malaysia and everywere else.

did you see jim rosenthal and tony jardine sat next to the fan that was blowing cold mist on them to cool them down, and saying how hot the tempreture was?

yet they were both wearing a t-shirt underneath a polo shirt !!

And there I was, thinking that Qualifying in Melbourne was dull because it dragged on for too long.

But in fact, as can clearly be seen here (ITV showed only the second session), Qualifying itself is actually pretty dull.

Schumacher definately had an amazing lap, especially looking at it from the T-cam he was on the trottle twice as much as anoyone else through the fast corners and the car was rock solid. 4 stops isn't really an option there is no point really the pit lane is quite bad in Malaysia because it takes too long to get in and the exit is quite nasty but Ferrari must have gotten freaked out by Renault and gone for an extra light car for Schumi because we all know how the Renaults start. All in all I want Webber to win :D

I think Bush will win. I also think that when he does, I will start looking at properies in other parts of this world. Kerry's campaign has been so inept. Despite the fact that people are now held in police custody without ever being charged, 2 million people have lost jobs, the rest of the world hates America, and the line between church and state has never been blurrier, this whole ****ing election is about semantics and John Kerry being a flip-flopper. Americans are ****ing morons, and the Democrats running campaign are among this group.

Thanks be to jesus the McLarens are closer than they were in Oz. But they still aren't going to win tomorrow. And the two Renaults are after feckin it up bigtime, i mean they were the only ones that i thought could catch the Ferraris, but P8 and P19th!
Well done to Webber too there's his williams drive sealed!

The pit lane is HUGE, 4 stops would be stupid. Michael is genuanly fast and this makes me sad, I bet anyone he is on the same stratagy as the Mclarens!

i think that mclaren williams and rubens have 3 stops, and michael maybe 4 stops, coz he is so much faster than the barrichello.

yeah, they may even do a 6 stops strategy... just because ferrari is bloody fast does it mesn they are for a stupid strategy? you said the same in australia and... surprise! 2 seconds per lap!

Ferrari are fast for a few laps, but on the longruns the Michelins are stronger. It will be a pretty close race. (At least close compared to Melbourne. ;))

I'm not sure MS could be on a 3 stop, he is the best driver in the field, it could've been another monster lap.
