Renault will "retro" look at British's Friday Practice

Posted by dada
I don't care about your opinions... I'm not going to change mine just because people prefer the other car... I like the Renault R27

that's fair enough, but it was you who asked:

-----------------------------------------------------
> Am I the only one who prefers the original 2007
> Renault than this one?

so i gave you the answer.

then you said you'd find lots of other members who like the original R27, but haven't yet done so.

no-one's telling you not to like it, you can do what you want, but you laid down the challenge so people responded.

Edit:

i think the model of the R27 (showcar) looks fantastic, and i'll probably buy a Heikki model when they're released:

i just think the real car looks awful.

RIP Jules, never to be forgotten. #KeepFightingMichael

it's Heikki's debut F1 model, so has more prestige to it, so i'd say Heikki.

Did Renault really paint the car that way?
yes, probably not the R27 though. have you seen the pics in the pack MSchumi put for download on the previous page?

i say special. It looks way better than the ING crud. I mean the ornage and white dont go with th e blue and yellow of the R-27. My opinion though.

with lots of crud,

Not just your opinion slicer.
forgot about the poll, but from my limited counting skills, i make it 9 votes for the Special livery, and 1 vote for the Normal livery.

Thank You and Good Night :)

Anyone have HI RES pics of the 30 ANS livery?
no, but this was a great livery - hopefully Renault runs something similar next year when ING goes.

They will be if they're already planning a retro look for the British Friday practice! :p
That 30 Ans livery really was sexy as hell! So striking. *Saves high-res pic from Page 1*

I love reading old threads like this - it's great to see predictions that were made, for example, and how accurate they turned out to be, etc etc. Muks rounded this one off nicely, too, 2 years ago tomorrow.

Amazingly coherent. (Sorry, couldn't resist) :P

Simplicity is beauty. Even in (fairly) recent times, for example, the early 1989 Tyrrell looked gorgeous.

Some great posts in this thread also by mikef1(where is he these days BTW?).

Same mate, love Muks pic with Heidfelds face on, now that would be quality if they did that :)

And that Tyrrell was stunning, but simple colours do look the best, the Arrows in 1998 for example
