Another "scenario'" than tries to match the Stepney issue and the Schumacher
When Schumi announced that he leaves F1 , he also said that he will be at Ferrari paddocks in 1-2 races. Everybody thought that he was talking about 1 or 2 European races. The Italian and the German Gps was the most possible for that.
Now we see MS at Monaco - Canada - Indy .... the man was just standing at the pit wall almost doing NOTHING.
The "rumor - scenario - conspiracy theory - the disappointed Ferraristi thoughts" ( whatever you can call this)is that MS was ....spying Stepney.

"How on earth did Stepney apparently introduce a "white substance" to the fuel in Massa's car at Monaco when he's apparently not been to any races this season?"
I believe that the story in Gazzetta dello Sport mentioned that the "white powder" was found in Maranello prior to sending the cars to Monaco.

Stepney lawyer rules out sabotage claims
The Italian lawyer representing Nigel Stepney has ruled out suspicions of sabotage in the action Ferrari have taken against his client.
Stepney is being investigated by Italian legal authorities after Ferrari lodged an official complaint about his behaviour. No details have been forthcoming on exactly what he is alleged to have done.
Rumours over the last 48 hours have hinted at a possible sabotage attempt on Ferrari's cars prior to the Monaco Grand Prix, although this has not been confirmed by the team.
But Stepney's lawyer Luca Brezigher told Gazzetta dello Sport that he was unaware of what the legal enquiry was looking into.
"I can only say with certainty that Stepney is formally investigated, but the charge against him at the moment is rather unspecified," he said.
"From what I've learned, many types of offences can be identified, such as aggravated damage or sporting fraud, but I'd rule out sabotage.
"On the matter of Stepney being unreachable, it must not be considered as an attempt to flee. I'm convinced he is on vacation and in the dark about this story.
"I don't find it credible that a professional of his calibre could damage his own team."
Stepney has been uncontactable and is believed to be away on holiday at the moment.
Brezigher, who confirmed that Stepney's apartment in Serramazzoni had been searched, said that he expected the investigation to last at least one year before any formal charges were considered.

This Is just Weird I hope Nigel is innocent I mean everybody gets the sh!ts at work and we don't go doing this

So some how 1 guy out of the hundreds that work there managed to slip white powder into the fuel tank? Hardly something that can be done discretely considering you'd need to do it with the actual pump mechanism off the tank... even less discreet if he had to fed it down a fuel pipe...

What a load of utter bollocks. Ferrari will lose the court case. Taking team's secrets to another team is NOTHING new in F1, Geoff Willis did it when he moved from Williams to Honda (then BAR), Newey did it when he moved from March to Williams, then Williams to McLaren.

The thing is, that Stepney is still working for Ferrari, he isn`t at another team.
