Is Schumacher missed?

yes i miss him. without him driving, there's just that *something* missing from F1, even with the arrival of Lewis. before there was always him to look out for, yes that's partly the fanboy in me, but even though all drivers should be treated equally, he was a bit more equal, if you get what i mean. now, i don't particularly root for any of the drivers, just want to see good racing, although i do want Kimi to succeed, with him being MS' replacement.

as James Allen said in his replies to viewers questions on ITV's site, imagine how MS would have fared against Kimi in his (Kimi's) current state, it's wouldn't have been the drubbing MS and a lot of us might have thought, quite the opposite may be. and imagine a fight between Alonso, Hamilton and Schumacher for the title, that would have been awesome.

James also asked (as some here have done) whether Ferrari will give Kimi some time out to sort himself out, and put MS back into the car. i doubt this would happen, but you never know.

RIP Jules, never to be forgotten. #KeepFightingMichael

I do wish people would stop saying how well ms would have gone in this years ferrari.

I dont think he would have gone any better than the 2 current drivers. In 2005 when the tyres were like these ms was not on the pace, these tyres would not suit his driving style as he likes a car to grip at the front. I dont think he would have gone any better than massa is.

He would probably do a better job than kimi is but many people said they have the same style.

The irony of somebody with a picture of David Coulthard in their signature calling Lewis Hamilton insufferable isn't lost on me.

I imagine they are one of those people who jumped on the Schumacher bandwagon, yet laughably refer to themselves as part of the tifosi.

Possibly. I'm still inclined to believe I am right in my assertion with regard that particular individual.

Thanks for your input however.

F1 without MS is not the same.i used to watch each and every preview and post race analysis, but now i only watch the race.

2005 was a bad season for ferrari and MS but he still managed to finish ahead of his teammate and two drivers in potential championship winning cars.thats the mark of a great driver.

2006 was unlucky but still a great title fight and some amazing drives by MS eg shanghai and brazil.

No.
Not at all, he had his time, and he used it well.

Though I do wish ITV would interview him, properly.

One thing ive missed this year.. good interviews... in F1 there are only afew drivers who have something good to say or worth listening to...

MS, DC, Nico and Wurz.

Funny how both of those drivers have beaten MS on several occasions, no?

Given the same circumstances, what saying FM or KR could not have won 7WDC ?

Not to take anything away from the guy mind.

Your veiled insults hold about as much water as your immature and uninformed ramblings on the sport do. If you have something to say to me jr. then come out and say it....

I'm sorry I think you have me confused with someone who has actually posted on here extensively. I say this because my 'immature and uninformed ramblings' run to a handful of posts, some not even on Formula 1.

I'm not sure where I insulted you, veiled or not and I don't have anything to say to you.

Take it easy.

Well ..... I miss him and em, point of fact Alonso did not beat him last season in case you were not waching, the car 'broke'. Ms did not loose the Champion ship Ferarri did.

There are always preferences to drivers and that's life but love him or hate him, his accomplishments speak for themselves.
I don't know why people say that Kimi and Ms. have the same driving style ...
I really don't get that at all.
As for wether or not he would have done better well, look at his history who other than Senna could have got more from a car even when it wasn't there to get.
Like Muks I dont support any driver now, just looking to see what new talent emerges ..... would like to see Seb Vittel do well, I think he has a lot to offer.

People say that MS and Kimi have the same driving style, because they do have the same style. Just watch onboard laps of both and you'll see how similar they drive.
