No 'aswell', things are looking bad for Silverstone. If they don't get things sorted out, the 2009 British GP could be the last one there.

Anyway, nice idea, it looks like it has some nice overtaking spots. Does anybody know the width of the track though? I assume it's a bit wider than Monaco...

McLaren may have to start the race without the new wing, if the new one will flex. They (FIA) will monitor the wing on Friday by cameras onboard the car.

Hmm if the tickets and flights to Valencia are cheaper than tickets for Silverstone I might see if I'll have finished Uni by then and see if I can persuade my uncle to go with me. We're both into photography and Valencia would be :-o:-o:-o for that. The weather would be :-o:-o:-o and I think my uncle wants to retire to somewhere in Spain.

Plus Spanish totty. ;-)

Germany's had two for years. This one will replace the Nurburgring as the European venue, I think.

i think Nurb will alternate with Hockenheim year after year for the German GP, or am i dreaming that?

so yeah Valencia could take the title of European GP.

I think Bernie is missing a trick with this "European GP" title business. Lets see know. Hmm yeah, the British GP, French GP, both German GPs, both Spanish GPs, both Italian GPs, the Turkish GP, the Hungarian GP, the Monaco GP and the Belgian GP. Now all of them are in Europe so he could hold each GP there twice. ;-) Once as the "British GP" or wherever and then again as a "European GP". OK there'd be 12 European GPs a year but Bernie wants more races doesn't he?

Oooh leading on from another thread from another forum, how about each time a car comes up to the gap, a bridge rises out of the harbour just like in the Crystal Maze. ;)

There's a good video here about the circuit:

It looks ok, some media say it's 14 metres width, made by Herman Tilke.

Reminds me off a wide monaco, the road next to the sea, the bridge is a bit like the tunnel in monaco, yeh, good ;)

Some political party is in now; they have to stay in after the elections to validate the contract?

Yes, the other important party dont want to make the GP around the streets of the city, they want to make it in the Ricardo Tormo circuit, where Bernie Ecclestone doesnt want. So it's impossible to have a GP 2008 in Valencia if the actual party dont win.
