well, the 2002 season WAS boring, wasn't it?

Until now, the race theirselves this season were boring, but the standings makes it interesting, on the whole.

How was that a boring race for these days? The only explanation is if the driver you supported didn't do as well as he should!

Hehe, i support Kimi(60%) and Massa(40%), so the drivers and the team didn't won, but still would've been nice if massa had to fight for p1 and if kimi catched lewis and fought with him and mannaged to get p2. Than it wouldn't been a boring race, but still, i'm not complaining, i like it i like it!! :D

was an ok gp. Lost of action in the mid field.

Good job by massa best drive yet by lewis just hope the engine will be ok for the next race.

Lewis needs to watch his weaving I think he messed up alonso's start but he still got 3rd.

job race by nick nice to see him show he can over take.

2002 was boring, very boring.

I said boring because the top five are the same as they started and only Heidfeld and Alonso switched positions. And between them a short but confortable distance (2 to 4 seconds aprox). Except for the first 10 laps, they were almost every lap matching their times. At least McLaren and Ferrari seem to be close.

What I don't get is why Alonso had the top speeds in every sector but he lacked the speed along the race.

Again, great race by Heidfeld, among the top 4!!!

good race ,much better than Malaysia was....all 3 podium drivers did well today and Heidfeld too :) sad to see both Red Bulls to retire they did drove very well today specially DC.
"Lewis needs to watch his weaving I think he messed up alonso's start but he still got 3rd"

Yes Lewis drove really well but his weaving is not acceptable really, i bet Fernando will have words with him afterwards about that.

Yeah, the sooner she gets kicked out, the better.

What a crap, he is racing for himself and don't need to make room for mighty alonso, he must create place himself to overtake. Seeing at the championship there is no reason to give space or not defend his position, he is co leader at it so he did good.
Agree that the weaving isnt great, but he wasnt actually moving much, was he? No more than perhaps a wheel width in each direction

Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)
Guys don't wave, don't go off your line, blablabla, put some robots in the cars then and lets get it even more boring like it already is!

I think he moved quite a lot from one side to another, but as it was the start, the FIA didn't give him a penalty. Had it happened in the middle of the race, I am not too sure he wouldn't have had a penalty.

You might not know it, but you can only go off line and back once, that's a rule.

Watching the start it looked like alonso was going down the inside of kimi but it looked like alonso was not sure where lewis was going they will probably have words in the pits.

Brundle did comment on the moving at the start.

But any how was a great drive by him.
Yes that was my point but i guess the start is different. In any case it shows a feisty attitude to his competitors but i worry that it may result in a collision in the future.

No it's not crap, it's the rules. You are allowed to make 2 moves, one to defend the position and one to return to the racing line. Weaving is not allowed.

They've only ever said about weaving when defending a position, not attacking, so this is different.

And I'm not sure it's an actual rule either, just like a gentleman's agreement type thing... if anyone has something to say about it, I think it would be other drivers to tell him not to do it again, not the FIA giving him a penalty.

I love the way Massa is saying that he has 'answered his critics' now. All he has proved, liek he has done twice before, is that when he is out at the front and not in direct combat he can win. He is just another Ralf Schumacher.

Still, good race though. As for Lewis's weaving, i dont think that really counts, he didnt change his line, he just made it look like he would. I would class a weave as going from one side of the track to the other.
