Damn it must be pretty cool to pack away an entire formula one team, fly it several thousand miles, unpack it then set it all up in what... 3 days?

must be one hell of a slick operation.

But anyways, i can't see this race being much different to the first two im afraid... Ferrari with the leading pace, McLaren mixing it up, with BMW and Williams as the best of the rest.

Not much to discuss yet really! First practice will give us an idea of whose on the pace.
Read somewhere that it could be a wet race, i do hope it is.

That'd be really coincedent. How many days does it rain a year there? 10? And on one of those ten day, F1 is there ;)

everyone said it would rain like hell in Sepang and it didn't so I think and hope it will be dry at Bahrain too.

i think all races might be dry this year coz of this climate change and stuff

I reckon Ferrari will have a fight on their hands beating McLaren here to be honest :) And reliability is always at a premium in Bahrain due to engine overheating. My surprise tip is Toyota, I reckon they will get themselves ahead of Renault and possibly even BMW Sauber.

That's actually totally wrong. It will heat up, yes, but because more water will vaporize due to the heat, more rain will fall.

It did actually rain at the start of the first ever Bahrain GP if i remember correctly, just as Martin was doing his gridwalk...but he said that the track temperature was so hot there that it just evaporated from the ground instantaneously, lol.

AH, it's time again for some useless predictions here:

Again Ferrari will beat Spyker in qualifying, and probably they also will in the race (before the first round of pitstops btw, as the Spykers have a life expectency of about ten laps, decreased even by a frustrated-to-the-bone Sato, who didn;t manage last two races to catapulte any driver even of the tarmac.)

Both Renaults will be so slow, they won't even manage to beat each other in qually... (think about that)

Liuzzi qualifies surprisingly in the top ten, leaving his teammate and the red bulls on the 18th to 20st place, but makes a mistake by stepping in Coulthard's car (Dc being again on the toilet, he IS an old man) instead of his own, leaving him 19th on the grid, not able to reach the pedals.

And ofcourse the WWF Honda team. DC's jealous at Jenson, being not the slowest british driver on the grid anymore. Anthony Davidson cheers DC up a bit by promising him to ask Sato to launch his car over Button's, so DC will be able to finish last. Unfortunately, DC won't even start, as you can read above.

Back to Honda. Greenpeace thinks the Hondateam hypocrite, advertising a better environment, and at the same time burning thousands gallons of fuel for nothing (even Greenpeace knows they're slow), so Greenpeace decides to do their guerillatactics on JB, and so Jenson finds ten teenagers chained to his Honda on the grid. Later that race, Rubinho suffer's from Greenpeace's anti-whaler tactics, being terrorized by watercanons and all kinds of flags with unreadable slogans.

Luckily for them, the Honda garantees a short suffering, and they join the Spyker drivers after 7 laps in the paddock.

Alonso might win. Kimi is also an option. Or maybe Hamilton. Could be Massa also. Or Heidfeld. Or Kubica. Or Fisichella. O, no, not Fisichella.

I don't care who wins....hmm, that's a big lie, i want raikkonen to win, but, i want a good race, with loads and loads of overtakes, and leader changes, and wheel to wheel duels, some nice crashes, maybe some cars fliping and all that (would do well for my gp4 intro wip video), oh and let's hope for the sake of god....hmm, i forget what i wanted to say. Anyway, a clean race, loads of onboard video-takes, nice battles, kimi on the top.

I think it's going to be the same as Sepang- McLaren & Ferrari pretty much even (Kimi gets a new engine) and then BMW, then Toyota/Williams and the rest.

I hope Webber gets some points :)

Personally I hope for an earthquake. Nothing fancy, just a good old fashioned earthquake to spice things up a little...
