hmmm ok quali.
Massa supprised at the end, though I dont think he'll be so good in the race.

JB did v.well, better than I expected tbh.

Renaults were shite.

Kubica is disapointing me, hes not really giving Nick too much of afight it seems.

Hamilton did ok, lets see fuel tomorrow though because I would say he is heavier than the three in front of him.

Rosberg is having a great start to the season!

I agree, i just hope everything doesnt go down the drain for Williams like last year. Massa, I think will take charge of being on pole, as you know felipe and kimi are having an internal team fight so he'll want to come out on top. I liked the performance from Lewis although he backed down when he got drops of rain on his visor(which was to be expected). But what is up with the renaults?! The last 2 years they were making our lives hell(ferrari fans i mean) and now they're just sitting ducks!
massa put one on raikkonen.great drive from massa.the press conference was funny when massa said that the drivers will need to drink a lot of water for tommorrow's race and only water, not anything else(talking about raikkonen).
LOL.

Top not that surprising but OMG @ renault and honda, especially Barrichello from the last one, unbelievably slow!

OK qualifying but it looks to be a great race if Mclarens long distance pace holds up.
seeing Alonso in the press conference with Massa and Raiknonnen made me think I'm going to go for him in the for the championship as I think the Ferrari drivers will take too many points off each other, especially if Alonso is consistently up there

Funny to see how three teams and several same drivers keep fighting eachother every season in different couples btw.

@2005 Renault vs Mclaren/ Raikkonen vs Alonso
2006 Renault vs Ferrari/ Alonso vs Schumacher
2007 Ferrari vs Mclaren/ Raikkonen/Massa vs Alonso (so far it seems, but in the end it always turns out to be heads up, so lets hope it may be now a 3 or 4 sided battle, like 2003 for example)

BTW:

All that "dream" slogans (this one and myearthdream.com) from Honda get's a bit ironically btw, i'd say to them: "Keep on dreaming" and the dream turns out be a nightmare.

And for renault, again, i am still flabbergasted, only this:

lol the end of quali was brill. first off i wanted kimi to get pole, and he did, but then alonso went faster, sh!t, so then i thought well i'd much rather hamilton beat fernando but he didnt so massa was my last hope so thank god he got the job done lol!

Yes, but the car was poor for him. </chet>

How can you hate your Brazilian countrymen? I'm Australian, I pretty well have to support Webber (its our patriotic duty), and I'm happy to do so, but why dont you like your fellow Brazilians?

Please, don't start this idiot off.

For the record, Rubens had to switch to the spare car which was not set up for him, and he had had an engine change penalty before qualifying, so would most likely be at the back anyway unless he was able to qualify in the top 10 - something that even "Magic Jenson" couldn't do with that car..

@Senna

Please can you tone down your language. You are entitled to you opinion and I understand you get very emotional about little things, but there is a large audience in these forums of people of all ages and nobody wants this forum to turn into one with people constantly hurling explitives at each other.

Nah, they put his original engine and gearbox in the spare car, so he wouldn't have had a penalty. Not that it would have made any difference. How could anyone be motivated to drive that heap, as well as spout all the environmentally friendly drivel? ;)

So far in the races, where it counts: :)

"magic" Jenson 0, No.8 1 ;)

Anyone else get the feeling ferrari have gone light with Massa hoping he can pull away, I think he might even start on the softer tyres and try and pull away. I think Alonso might start on them as well.

It looks like both mclaren and ferrari have split their options. The race is between them 2 teams.

Honda need to pull their fingers out big time and as for renault bet alonso is happy he left them.

Well done by Nico hope he is not very light and that is real pace.
Ferrari and McLaren are away in the distance somewhere :) Already it's shaping up to be an excellent battle for 3rd Overall, but of course the Championship is going to be an exciting battle too.

A lot of Brazilians dislike Rubens because they think he wasn't able to fill in Senna's shoes. And who would? Germans may experience the same now Michael's retired.
Massa has a much easier task: he has to beat Rubens. Only the Spyker are having some trouble doing that. But he had a very good race at Albert Park and almost finished in the points. I don't think he will be able to do so this time. The car seems to be worse than in Australia. Remember thar JB was completely off the pace there. If he hadn't held back his teammate for 10 laps or so he could've scored some points.
I think new Honda is unbalanced they need more downforce in the wings and so the car is slower in the straights. Compare the top speeds os the Hondas and the Super Aguris. The same is true if you compare the Williams and the Toyotas.

I've yet to see you be right on much more than what is already fact. Your constant spamming before the Chinise GP 06 that Jenson was going to win because of the rain and he was no where near winning, were you right then? When `Magic` Jenson is seemingly so much better than Rubens yet was firmly beaten by a country mile in Melbourne...

What you keep ignoring that is right and FACT that Rubens has achieved more than Button has so until that changes you will never be right.

If someone slagged off Button in Rubens situation you'd have gone on and on and on once more about everything that went wrong for him. Yet you like to ignore the fact Rubens had to switch half his car to another car in a 15min session...

I just can't believe you claim to be 25 or whatever it is as you claim. Certinaly your posts don't reflect your age with the constant regurgitated junk you post. Not to mention how you think your OPINION is right...

-----------

Anyway decent qualifying. Hope the McLarens can keep a good long distance pace up and give these Ferraris a run for there money. Don't really care who wins as long as the 4 cars are up front and making a good fight :)
